Account Manager – Fleet Sales
We need to strengthen the AMS team in Belgium with 2 highly motivated professionals to support our client General Motors.
The position of Account Manager Fleet Sales means you will work with General Motors’ important B2B customers to increase the Fleet, Leasing and Business share of the new car market.
Are you the right candidate
- You must live in Belgium, be able speak fluent Flemish & French and have a reasonable level of English.
- This is a responsible position; you need to be a good communicator with the ability to build long term business relationships.
- You must be reliable; you will only spend 1-day a week in the office. Most of your time will be spent in the field with dealers and fleet operators. On some occasions you will plan your week ahead and deal with admin from home so being self motivated is also important.
- Experience in the car industry is not essential. The right candidates can expect great training and support but it will help if you have a few years work experience behind you and can demonstrate a track record that proves your career is ready for this exciting next step.
- Some experience in field sales would be an advantage but again, this isn’t essential.
What is a typical day like
- You are the face of General Motors. It will be your responsibility to represent this exciting organisation during business meetings and negotiations with B2B customers.
- You will support dealers to sell more new cars to their own B2B customers.
- You will be challenged to identify new prospects and build relationships with Fleet Managers & Buyers who may not yet have considered the advantages of Opel products and services.
- You will liaise with a broad range of departments across General Motors. You will assist in the development of marketing programs, sales strategies and pricing plans designed to ensure B2B customers turn to General Motors for new cars.
- This is about forging long term relationships. You will ensure the purchase and ownership experience of B2B buyers matches their expectations and the exacting standards of General Motors.
Administration
You will keep the B2B customer data base up to date with contact records and visit reports so you should have a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
The package
The salary range for this position is up to €32,000 per year and a company car is also included.
